Life is full of curves and bumpy roads and that is what it makes worth living, that is the reason why we go after what we want. Is it easy? Sometimes not, in fact, the most rewarding things in my life were not easy, they were a pain in my butt and some of them still are. From packing to deciding what is for sale, what I keep, to running around doing some last paperwork stuff to deal with and loading into my car most of the things I own; it has been a huge hill to climb and plenty of things to process.
After 7 days of packing, sorting things into sale, donate or throw away, I am nearly to the end.
“The closer you think you are from the end, the further you are” –
this quote applies right now!
I have been dealing the entire day with the 10% of the things remaining in my soon to be old apartment. I have going around the city to do the last bits and pieces before my big trip. I am exhausted as I have packed my entire life in my car -whisky- and my friend´s garage.
So, I have decided to start my trip tomorrow. Last week I picked today to start my driving for multiple reasons: it is my best friend´s birthday, my godfather/uncle/father figure birthday, it is the equinox and peace day. This is a new chapter that will bring me peace and happiness. Yes, it is going to be hard as hell but I have trust and confidence that it will be amazing and fulfilling.
Whisky is ready with 5 suitcases, 3 boxes, 1 cooler, 1 bin, 1 backpack, my bike, my yoga mat, yoga props and some other things. People have come to help me and I feel the luckiest girl in the world. I have spent time with my closest friends and give them a huge squeezable hug. I have met in my last days beautiful souls that I know I will encounter again soon.
Whisky super full with stuff! ?
The kitchen looks like a tornado has come and gone and left behind the different things that I owe in a mess. My room looks like an earthquake decided to become a guest and has stayed there for the last couple of days. Soooo much stuff…. Really… It is overwhelming. Oh well, now to sleep as tomorrow we (Whisky and I) start driving. My first stop is Richards Landing in a beautiful property with a lovely room in Eden.
Have a lovely day my pretties…
